My dear uncle Jinggoy and his son John, who live in Canada came to visit the Philippines to attend a wedding in Cebu. Before their trip back to Toronto, they stopped by Manila for a few days. It was so awesome to see them. I haven’t seen my uncle in almost 20 some years and my cousin, John…… he was still a baby! Not anymore. He’s all grown up. Made me feel a wee bit old-er! Hahahha
It was so fascinating to see my dad and his brother together at the same time, seated right next to each other. Their mannerisms….. they way they moved, they way they spoke and the things that came out of their mouths, was quite entertaining and bizarre at the same time! I looked at John and Andrew and told them how weird it was to see them together. They are exactly alike! Brothers indeed.
Kaiseki, Fort, our go to Japanese resto, which is close to where we live (to get away from all the traffic out there), was where we decided to dine. We started with the usuals and as always, my “senior moments” kicked in once again as I forgot to take photos of the other stuff we ordered hahhahaha! Sorry about that. The Fort Pointe, Bonifacio Global City Taguig City, Metro Manila Philippines (02) 889-1005
