Korean at home.

Having my brother and my sister in law in Manila is a great time for my family. We love spending time with them, catching up and listening to all their stories. Since they will be heading back to the province soon, I decided to make a homemade Korean Dinner for us tonight. Our family loves Korean food and I enjoy cooking it for them. 🙂

Boneless Angus Shortribs

MARINADE:

1 Tbsp Dark soy, 1 Tbsp kikkoman, 1/4 cup water,

3 cloves garlic, smashed and minced, 1 Tbsp sesame oil

2-3 Tbsp sugar (add more or less to your desired sweetness)

1 tsp sesame seeds, 1 Tbsp chopped spring onions (optional)

Pork and Chicken Marinated with a combination of Korean pastes.

Bibimbap on the stove waiting to be served.

Bibimbap mixed with a little Korean chili paste. Deeelish!

First the lettuce                                              Add the meat

Add the special homemade sauce  and some Bibimbap rice (if desired)

Wrap…..

And take a Biiiig bite! 😀 Nom..Nom..Nom…

My 2 little lovable furry babies waiting for scraps to fall. 😛

Why do we Filipinos have a knack for leaving the last piece of food (in this case, 1 chicken, 1 pork and 1 mushroom) on the serving dish embarrassed to grab it, or….. “ask for permission” before taking it 😛

This meal was delish because we were able to eat it together as a family. Family bonding is awesome!  😀

    1. Hahaha… Yes. As a matter of fact, I am more aware now that it really does happen all the time. Whether it is fruit, dessert, chocolates etc.. I find so much humor in it. Thanks so much for reading =D
