A Vegas trip usually comprises of shopping, gambling, eating and having a grand ol’ time partying up a storm. As the saying goes… “What goes on in Vegas…. stays in Vegas”.
My last 10-day trip to Vegas was a bit different, it was pleasantly different. We stayed at my good friends place in the suburbs for several days and it was so unbelievably relaxing. Kids jumping in and out of the pool to cool off from the terrible summer heat, smelling BBQ as my friend, Hayia cooks up a storm for every meal. It felt good to be in Vegas being surrounded by fantastic friends, not being pressured to play in the casino, or walk the strip at the height of summer or shop till you drop. It was quite refreshing. One of the best Vegas trips I have had in a loooong time. Thanks guys 🙂
My dear friends decided to take my son and I to Lake Mead and to see Hoover Dam. I’ve been there once before, but I never really got to “see” it. We boarded a boat and did a tour of the lake. Here are some of the photos I took.
The photo on the right shows how much the water levels have dropped. 😦
Fish feeding frenzy! It was crazy seeing that much fish without a net. They were FAT!
Thank you so much Osorio family. Come visit the Philippines soon! 😀
(Day 2)
Grabbed a cab from our hotel and our driver happened to be Korean. We were craving for Korean food, well, at least I was. :p We asked him to recommend a good Korean place to us and he did. My apologies, I completely forgot the name of the resto, and misplaced their card, but I managed to find some of the photos of our delicious meal.
After our scrumptious lunch, My son, my brother and I went to see The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil. It was an amazing show especially if you love the Beatles. My son and brother had the best time! 😀
It was packed!
A must see when in Vegas =)
(Day 3)
The last thing you expect to see walking inside the Forum shops in Vegas, is a runway right smack in the middle of the mall with a fashion show going on. It was great to experience it and see what the newest trends were for the season. It was the grand opening of the Forever 21 store and did it with a BANG, don’t ya think? 😉
Had a wonderful time in Vegas. Looking forward to visiting again soon and creating more memories with friends and loved ones.
