I fondly remember Hotel Nikko now known as Dusit Thani Hotel as kid. It’s facade on the outside looked almost the same as when I was younger, with some changes, of course. I was completely shocked with the way it looked like on the inside. I was pleasantly surprised. 🙂
We’ve been to Benjarong a couple of times and I must say, the food is always delish! Service is not to shabby as well. 😉 Not only did the food look good, it tasted amazing. And……. as an added bonus, the place is so beautiful, that it makes for a complete dining experience.
Catfish Green Mango Salad. This was so good! The perfect balance of salty, sweet and sour. This was my fave! I will attempt to make this dish soon and share it with you all, after I do my test kitchen and will add it to my Cooking 101-A photo journal. 🙂
They mix the salad for you. I am salivating as I post these photos 😀
These appetizers were deeeelish! Fried spring rolls and Thai fish cakes. Nom..Nom..Nom..
The Chicken Pandan, is always a staple order for me in any Thai resto I go to. I mean, Chicken pandan is….. chicken pandan, right? 😉 It was good, but I wasn’t “blown away” by it. The Phad Thai, another Thai staple, was yummy as well. However, the Fish Fillet in Tamarind Sauce was good, don’t get me wrong, but I felt like it needed an extra umph to it.
Loved the presentation of the Jasmine Rice.
Ahhhh… The Green Chicken Curry was yuuuum. I love the taste of all the blended spices and seasonings, simmered in a coconut cream reduction. The Green Shrimp Curry was delish as well. 😀
My fantastic lunch plate. Burp! 😀
