Caruso Pizzeria Ristorante

My sister, Samantha who lives in Sydney, arrived from a trip in Budapest and dropped by Manila for 5 days before heading back to Oz. Phew! I envy how she can do that and not be stressed out. The benefits of being young and vibrant.

Today was a wonderful day to spend with family. My brother, Steve and his wife, Michelle arrived today and Mother Goose decided to have lunch out. We missed the presence of Father goose and my other brother Tom. Wish you guys were with us. 😦

My brother, Ken reco’d this resto and said that the food was amazing! We definitely had to go and try it out.

I love being able to talk, laugh and enjoy each other’s company and get to do this with delicious food.  Can’t wait til we’re Complete! Come home Tom….. We miss you.

  1. Wow… how I miss a fine meal. 😉 of food names I’ll have trouble of remembering right after hahaha!
    I love this post.

I just had to smile noticing that in Steve’s first pic, he seems like pouring Coke Zero into the wrong glass. hahaha!

    Such a sweet family meal.

  2. Pria, this is my FAVORITE restaurant in Manila. I think the Italian food is even better than many here in the US (except Michael’s restaurant of course…ha ha ha).

I use to love the Porcini mushroom risotto. This restaurant reminds me of my Dad and Mom getting back together before he died because it was one of the first restaurants we went out as a family.

The owner is from Milan right?

Also, the family looks great! Your Mom looks awesome.

    Kisses,
    Louise

  3. My word! Looks great and of course; mom and her lamb shanks! She loves those. As usual, I’m MIA with food outings there. Looking forward to trying their food there sometime soon.

  4. Hi Pria! The food there is really good! I can’t believe how grown Samantha is! I still remember her watching Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory at your place in Manhattan.
