My son and I celebrated New Year’s day together at Shang Palace. We had an amazing feast tonight. We kiiinda over ordered, but had yummy food for the next day. Shang Palace never disappoints. Food is always fresh, delish and the wait staff… awesome. They were quite packed that evening, thank goodness batboy decided to make reservations.
I love spending time with my son. He is in fact my best friend/confidant and accountability partner. I talk to him about everything and he tells me everything. Well….. I’d like to think he does. 😛
It is an amazing feeling to see your son all grown up. Watching how he is developing into becoming his own man, remembering and putting into practice the values that have been instilled in him since he was young. It’s a wonderful feeling as a parent, to know that he loves God and has surrendered his life to Him. I am looking forward to seeing how the Lord moves in his life as he begins on a new journey. I guess I’m getting a little sentimental. Sigh…. Back to my post ➡
The wonderful dishes we had that night.

We started 2012 with an amazing dinner and awesome mother-son bonding. I am amazed at how time flies by so fast, He’s turning 20 soon; Now… THAT was crazy fast! 😯 2012 is the year for positive change and positive growth. Looking forward to the blessings and learnings that 2012 will bring!
Happy New Year Everyone!
