Pork BBQ…. Pinoy Style

Inihaw na baboy or Pork BBQ is a classic Filipino dish that every household has. Each house cook has different variations using an array of ingredients like soy sauce, patis, lemon/calamansi, garlic, onions, sugar, honey, soda and yes, banana ketchup. 🙂 The list can go on and on. This is a no fuss and easy BBQ that you can do at home. Hope you guys give it a try.

Fresh pork belly/liempo, cut 5-6 inches long
1 head garlic, minced
Brown Sugar, Kikkoman, Dark soy and Sprite.

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and add pork belly. Allow to marinate for at least 2 hours maximum 5 hours.

Pre-heat your grill on high for at least 25 minutes before grilling. Grill meat and lower heat to  medium allowing the meat to cook gently to avoid burning.

Serve and enjoy.
