My dear friends Sandra and Michael invited us over their place for dinner. We had such a wonderful time catching up and doing the usual chicka-chicka. Sandra’s made a fantastic 8 hour roasted prime rib with all the sidings. Corn on the cob, baked veggies, and an amazing spinach onion dip. Sarrrap! Thanks Sands and Mike!

Big sis Luisa arrives with the rest of the family and the house was full of fun and laughter, reminiscing the good ol’ days. What a fun night it was!

The piece de resistance…. Drum roll please….
8-Hour roasted Prime Rib with Sandra’s secret ingredient. She told me what it was, but promised to keep it a secret. Sorry guys. Will ask permission so I can make a blog post about it. Two roasts, one well done (but still so moist and tender) for those that don’t like the pinkish color and one that was perfectly pink. This roast was so juicy and succulent. 8 hours in a slow oven, brilliant Sands!
A great night spent with wonderful friends, more like extended families is a fantastic way to spend the weekend. Thanks so much guys!
Tomorrow, Sandra takes Drew and I to “The Best FIsh and Chips” resto in Sands’ book. Can’t wait to check it out!
