Peachy Korean BBQ Shortribs

Let’s make Ribs!

Traditionally, Korean beef ribs are marinated using an Asian pear or even apples. I decided to use peaches because I had so much left over from our Peach and Apple picking that week.

Hope you enjoy this recipe as much as my family did 😀

In a the bowl of a food processor, add chopped onions, chopped peaches, ginger, garlic, soy sauce ( i used kikkoman), Ssamjang Paste (you can find this at any Asian or Korean grocery) and sesame oil. (sorry, forgot to take the photo). Process until combined.

Marinate beef ribs, preferably 8-10 hours. If you don't have time, marinate for a minimum of 2-3 hours.

Let this marinate so the beef is full of yummy flavor.

I did not have a grill in our apartment and so i pan fried them using a bit of canola oil. Make sure to to oil the pan so much. You may have to change oil and wipe pan clean due to the caramelized sugars in the marinade.
