I love visiting family in Sarangani and Gensan. I come at least 4 times a year to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, to recharge my mind, body and soul. This trip, i was given the privilege to attend the press conference and unveiling of Tang’s newest product, specially made and formulated for Mindanao. Introducing, TANG SWEET ORANGE.

The press conference was held at the East Asia Hotel in General Santos City, where the wonderful bloggers and press of Socsargen gathered to witness and taste this new product. Well…. of course we were all eager to meet and question Gerald Anderson as well. 😀
For those not in the know, Gerald Anderson is an actor in Philippine showbiz and was was born and lived in Gensan before he took on the role of tv/movie heartthrob. He was gracious, kind and seemed like a genuinely nice guy. Not to mention, he’s so much more gorgeous in person as well. As the presscon continued, I completely understood why Tang chose him to endorse this new product. Not only is is intelligent, handsome, charismatic, he is a Mindanawon through and through. He even mentioned that he saw some of his childhood barkadas (friends) at the hotel and recalled how he used to hang out in the malls of the city, namely KCC and Gaisano.

As the press continued to ask questions regarding their new product, a bunch of guys dressed in what seemed like costumes from the Jetsons started to emerge. Backpacks fitted with “tanks” full of Tang’s new Sweet Orange Juice ready to serve their eager guests. It was pretty cool! 😀

As the presscon stated to wind down and people being all giddy with excitement, including me, made their way up to the stage to get the chance to take a photo with him. He was patient and really nice about the whole thing considering he just came from a taping of Dyesebel.

When I got home, I decided to make a concoction using Tang’s sweet orange juice. Hope you guys like it. 😀
My darling sister in law, Michelle had a wonderful array of teas at home so I decided to rummage through what she had. My choice…. Passion Fruit, Mango and Orange. You may opt to use the regular Lipton tea bags as well.

Pria’s Sweet Orange Tang Iced Tea:
4pcs tea bags of choice
8 cups water, boiled
