Manna Korea Garden

It’s been quite awhile since my last post and to be honest with you, it was a bit frustrating not being able to blog. I love writing about things that I am passionate about. One of them is food. I am enjoying every minute of it and I look forward to finding new places to dine in and creating dishes for you to try at home.

I LOVE Korean food. As a matter of fact, I constantly cook Korean food at home for my family and friends. I always joke around with my dear friend, Tina (who is Korean) and tell her that “I truly am Korean at heart” because of my passion for their food and culture. 😀 Korean food is truly my comfort food.

Decided to take Mother Goose to lunch today and we decided on Manna Korea Garden Restaurant. This little Korean resto is tucked away in a small area/street in Makati. It’s actually behind the Rockwell area. It’s a simple place with great Korean food! You can tell that it’s authentic because most of their partons are Korean. 😀

Meet Mrs. Kim. She’s the owner and runs the restaurant. You can approach her and ask her what her favourite dishes are and her best sellers and she will gladly recommend them to you 😀

As you can see… the place is simple. No frills, not fancy at all, but the food is deeelish! 😀

I have been to Manna several times, and I enjoyed it very much. These are the staples I usually order, but the next time I go, I will definitely try their other dishes.

Banchan (pronounced as “bonchon”), refers to the assorted sides served alongside a main course in Korean cuisine. Oh I just love them so! 😛

You can have them mix the Dolsot Bibimbap. It’s quite a big dish and is definitely good for 2 people.

This I must say is my fave! Pajeon is a Korean Seafood Pancake. This is delicious!

As always, I had a fantastic time with Mother Goose. Lunch again tomorrow? 😛
